Check out this recent Slashdot.org article titled "The Flat Earthers Are Still With Us" which references this BBC article about the Flat Earth movement.

You have to wonder if groups like "The Flat Earth Society" are hanging on for the sake of hanging on, or do they honestly believe in the flat Earth theory?

Seriously, there are more worthy conspiracy theories that one can waste their time on.
